The Boeing AH-64 Apache is an American four-blade, twin-turboshaft attack helicopter with a tailwheel-type landing gear arrangement, and a tandem cockpit for a two-man crew. It features a nose-mounted sensor suite for target acquisition and night vision systems. It is armed with a 30 mm (1.18 in) M230 chain gun carried between the main landing gear, under the aircraft’s forward fuselage. It has four hardpoints mounted on stub-wing pylons, typically carrying a mixture of AGM-114 Hellfire missiles and Hydra 70 rocket pods. The AH-64 has a large amount of systems redundancy to improve combat survivability.

Breaking Bad is an American crime drama television series created and produced by Vince Gilligan. The show originally aired on the AMC network for five seasons, from January 20, 2008, to September 29, 2013. It tells the story of Walter White (Bryan Cranston), a struggling high school chemistry teacher diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer, who, together with his former student Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul), turns to a life of crime, producing and selling crystallized methamphetamine to secure his family’s financial future before he dies.

The Pontiac Aztek is a mid-size crossover that was marketed by Pontiac from the 2001 model year to the 2005 model year along with its corporate cousin, the Buick Rendezvous.

While a commercial failure that is commonly cited as one of the worst automobiles ever produced, the Aztek has seen a resurgence in popularity and public interest in the late 2000s and early 2010s thanks to its association with Breaking Bad as the car driven by main protagonist Walter White.

The Subaru Impreza is a compact automobile that has been manufactured since 1992 by Subaru. Subaru introduced the Impreza as a replacement for the Leone, with the Leone’s EA series engines replaced by the newer EJ series versions.

Now in its fourth generation, Subaru has offered four-door sedan and five-door hatchback body variants since 1992; the firm also offered a coupe from 1995 until 2000. Mainstream versions have received naturally aspirated “boxer” flat-four engines ranging from 1.5- to 2.5-liters, with the performance-oriented Impreza WRX and WRX STI models uprated with the addition of turbochargers. Since the third generation series, some markets have adopted the abbreviated Subaru WRX and WRX STi name for these high-performance variants.

The Kia Forte is a compact car produced by the South Korean manufacturer Kia Motors since mid-2008. It replaced the Kia Cerato and is available in two-door coupé, four-door sedan, five-door hatchback variants. It is not available in Europe, where the similar sized Kia Cee’d is offered (except for Russia and Ukraine, where the Cee’d and the Forte are both available).

The Renault Mégane Renault Sport or Mégane RS is a series of hot hatch models based on the Renault Mégane, designed and built by French automaker Renault since 2004. The Mégane RS won many awards like five times in a row the “Best hot hatch” from What car? The Subaru Outback is an automotive nameplate used by the Japanese automobile manufacturer Fuji Heavy Industries (FHI) since 1994. The “Outback” name has been utilized on two different Subaru branded vehicles. One of these models is based on the mid-sized Subaru Legacy and the other derived from the hatchback version of the Subaru Impreza. Named after the vast, remote, and arid outback regions in Australia—the name is intended to emphasize the moderate off-road capability of the vehicle.

Light cycles are fictional vehicles designed by Syd Mead for the simulated world of the Tron universe. These futuristic two-wheeled vehicles resemble motorcycles and create walls of colored light. The vehicles were primarily used in a competition between humanoid computer programs, similar to an old computer game sometimes known as “Surround” or “Dominos” (games which predate Tron).

Astra is a model name that has been used by Vauxhall, the British subsidiary of Adam Opel AG,[2] on their small family car ranges since 1979. For its first two generations, the nameplate was applied to right-hand drive versions of the Opel Kadett for use in the UK. Since 1991, Opel has used the Astra nameplate on its B/C-platform.

The Mitsubishi Colt is nameplate from Mitsubishi Motors that has applied to a myriad of automobiles since 1962. It was first introduced as a series of subcompact cars in the 1960s, and then as the export version of the subcompact Mitsubishi Mirage between 1978 and 2002. Chrysler, Mitsubishi’s longtime partner, also used the name when its long-running practice of rebadging Mitsubishi vehicles as the Dodge and Plymouth Colt captive imports for the North American market between 1970 and 1994.

In  this tutorial you will learn how to convert a png frame (i.e with some vehicle pictures) into an srf file for your garmin gps.

Follow our others tutorials in order to create the png file.

This tutorial only give you a tool (Mac users only) to allow this conversion.

 

  1. First you need a frame like this
  2. Save & name it “myvehicle.png”
  3. Download (see below) our tool precompiled for Mac : png2srf and decompress it in the same directory than the file “myvehicle.png”
  4. Launch this command line :
  5. png2srf myvehicle.png mygarmincursor.srf
  6. Install mygarmincursor.srf on your garmin GPS.
