   How must the files be add to the garmin unit. Like GPX file?

     Use the automatic install executable.
     Poi loader is used to upload files directly on your connected garmin gps.

   ive just dowloaded the automatic install for my garmin mobile xt, do i need the garmin poi loader to install the files ?
